It was the end of September 2012, and there we were looking forward to the two weeks of awesome fun in US with extended family. It was a trip that we were looking to make for quite sometime before we finally decided on getting our bags packed and get, set, GOOO !!!
We had a transit flight through Dubai, it was the first time I was flying Emirates and I quite liked the experience. I did a lottt of window shopping in the Dubai airport and finally shopped for some authentic sweets and savouries (Baklava , mixed nuts which had some yummy garnishing to it)

And we land at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston… to a pleasant weather and slight drizzles. My cousin and uncle were there at the airport to welcome us and we drove back to their place and the rest of the day was spent chatting and planning the itinerary for the days ahead. This was my first experience in Amerikkaaaa 😀
